Hi, this is Psychotype. I've also had the pen-names Physchotalk and Pyschotalk (both were spelled wrong- oops!). I'm a teen girl with a love for video games. When I grow older, I want to have a career of writing video game plots, being a creative director, being a game designer, or working on a TV show, so I thought I'd start with the fan fiction of my favorite games.

I'd like to state that I just noticed "Psycho Type" is a rock band. Huh. I wonder if they are any good.

My all time favorite games are Half Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2 because those got me into gaming. After that, I love Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, Portal, and Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Mirror's Edge, and Limbo (not necessarily in that order). I also like Braid, especially the story, but despite my avatar picture it isn't my favorite game. That icon looks awesome, though.

I like the Left 4 Dead 1 characters better than the Left 4 Dead 2 characters. It's simply a more fun group to write about.

Guess what? I'm now a beta! Now, I've complained often that my fanfics need reviews because I don't have a beta, but I decided that this was a good start to meeting writers to exchange stories with. I guess. Also, I love pre-reading peoples work, and seeing other writing styles should help me become a better writer.

A NOTE: Okay, Brown Skies is pretty much dead and I suck. I hereby solemnly swear that any chaptered stories I upload on this site will be ALREADY FINISHED so I don't have to feel bad about abandoning the story.

Things about me:

Basics: I'm 14, a gamer girl and pretty much a tomboy. I'm in my freshman year of highschool, and I love writing, reading, watching TV and playing video games. I'm shy except when I'm outgoing, and I'm talkative except when I'm not. I love writing Oneshots and am not so good at chaptered stories (I try! I just can't do it!). I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my writing (you'll see that if you check my profile often, I'm always tweaking it so it's perfect), but I'm pretty laid back in anything else, mainly because I'm too lazy to care too much.

Favorite Movie: I like Shaun of the Dead, Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, and Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World.

Favorite TV Show: Changes with ridiculous frequency. I like Community the best right now, followed by How I Met Your Mother (seasons 2-4 are the best), the Office, the Simpsons, Futurama, and the web shows the Guild, Zero Punctuation, and Extra Credits. Better off Ted, Firefly, and the first season of Glee get a mention too.

Favorite Actress: Felicia Day. She's totally my role model. I also love Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs from Community.

Favorite Actor: Hm, this one's harder. I like NPH, Simon Pegg, and Steve Carell equally. Actually, Neil Patrick Harris is probably a bit above the rest. Donald Glover from Community is rising fast up the list though.

Favorite Website: Em, I like Kotaku, Firstpersonshouter, The Escapist, Youtube, and Stumbleupon, also probably equally.

Favorite "Parings" (Parings is in quotes because I really hate that word. It makes me sound like a teenage fangirl. Which I guess I am, a bit, but I hate being a stereotype so I use words like that as infrequently as possible): I like Barney and Robin from HIMYM, Troy and Britta from Community, Alyx and Gordon, and Zoey and Ellis.

Okay, that favorites section was a joke, I'm horrible at signaling out one thing I like most of all.
