If you want me to beta, I will most likely be there. I'm the person who checks their e-mail 24/7 (my best-friend moved away, so I always check my e-mail to contact her) so you know I'll reply soon. I'm pretty picky on grammar and spelling, and most importantly, Capitalization. I'll help with anything, though, from spelling and grammar to helping you find that write summary to catch a reader's eye. I'm eager to help anyone, so don't hesitate at all!

However, school's starting, which means I'll only be available after 3 Eastern Pacific time (I'll probably be done with my homework by then). I stay up pretty late though, and will probably work on beta-ing and writing my own fanfics then.

I'm pretty good at proofreading and catching mistakes, as well as finding if a word is repeated too much. I'm good at keeping the rhythm of the writing be smooth. I also like helping add character development and the "human factor" in a story. I excel at Oneshots more then any other type of writing.

If your story is about a game I'm not that into, I won't be as good as a beta. My favorite games are in my bio. As stated above, I'm not that good with multi-chapters, but will help as much as I can as long as it's interesting.

I usually prefer Oneshots, as I keep mentioning, because they're short and sweet. I'm okay with WAFF as long as they aren't too fluffy, and I like romance as long as it's realistic, not the stuff you can see through. Action's always fun, but I don't like it when that's all a fanfic is. Good characterization, dialogue, and sentences that make you think is what I like to help people work on.

As I said, I don't like pieces that are too fluffy. Too much gore, blood, and violence is a turn-off (but I do love a little, of course; that's why I play video games anyway!). I can't really help you with lemons, yuri or yaoi, but I can do other romance. I'll help you with grammar and spelling, but if your piece is too far gone to begin with, then I can't help.
The thing I hate most of all in romances if your characters kiss at the beginning or middle of the story. Personally, I think the whole fanfic should be built up to that kiss. If you have a story that goes like,

then gordon realized he loved alyx "alyx i love you" he said and kissed her and she kissed back and they married two days later.

I will not consider that romantic, or even bearable, and I'll have to say I can't help you.
