Hello all!

Perhaps it's good that I haven't given up writing all together yet, but let me just say that any chapters that come out are going to be sporadic. It can be hard to find time to write with the way that real life always seems to get in my way. But we'll see how it goes.

Current Projects:

The Promise: It follows the simple question of what would have happened if it had been Zidane petrified in the Evil Forest instead of Blank. Would things still have turned out alright? Would the world be under the rule of Kuja instead? How significant of a role did our plucky main character really play in the final outcome? Will Dagger still fall for the same man, or was it just the situation that made her grow and love? This also gives me the chance to fill in some of my own backstory for the characters that the game never really saw fit to tell. But I will mention that this is just my own interpretation. It doesn't mean it's FF9 fact.

This one is very slowly coming along. I'll work on new chapters soon.

True Love, True Trust: Yes, after so many years, I am bringing True Love, True Trust out of retirement to see what I can do with it! Set post-Memoria, Queen Garnet has given herself in an unwanted marriage for the good of her people. But will she be able to go through with the marriage when she is reunited with Zidane after so many years apart? Duty or love?

A Forgotten Tomorrow: Mistakes can happen in an instant, and then we must live with the consequences. Sometimes they can be forgiven, but more often they hang in between for the rest of you life. Can one mistake be overturned when war is crashing down all around? Is there such a thing as true love, or is it a transient emotion that can be moved from one person to the next as situations change?

This story came to me when I was playing FF8 the other night and it wouldn't leave me alone so I figured I would see what I could do with it. It focuses primarily on Irvine and Selphie (a pair that I usually don't write on) but it will also have a featuring of other couples!

Put on the Back Burner for the moment:

Where You Find Home: Something brand new that takes place post FFX-2. Rikku needs to find her own path, learn from her own mistakes and grow independently of her family and friends. But there is more waiting for her than just a walk across Spira. Politics, the threat of war and the endangerment of her own family lurk in the shadows. Does she even have time for love?

I've kind of his a road block with this one. I'm not giving it up, I just need to figure out where it's headed first. So it may be a little longer in getting a new chapter up.

Adel, Ruler of Esthar is my only FF8 piece that I thought had potential. Right now, it's awful. But I might get the time to fix it and give it some depth. Depth always rocks.
