Author has written 5 stories for Legend of Zelda, and Star Wars.
A Few Words
My Update Policy:
Work, school, and family makes it hard to write, so it's difficult to say if/when I'll finish any of my stories. It's probably unfair to call that a "policy", but there you have it.
My Process:
Plot, then characters, then writing. The characters inevitably change the plot, and the writing always changes the characters. The original plot is never the same as the resulting one, and the characters undergo numerous changes before the final act is finished. Does it sound complicated? That's because it is.
My Genre:
Sci-fi/Fantasy. It's doubtful that I'll write anything else. Though I want to write more Star Wars fiction (it seems to be highly popular on this site), I have great love for the Legend of Zelda franchise, and I'll probably be writing about it for years to come.
My Review Policy:
When I review something, I never write "Update soon plz," a message that so many of us here have had the misfortune to receive. I don't pull any punches, but criticism, when constructive, builds us up to be better. I don't expect the same treatment when you read my stories, but it's nevertheless appreciated.
My Stories
"The Mind Trap"
I consider this Star Wars story finished, but I'm always looking back at it and making revisions here and there. I may even expand the story to a few more chapters sometime in the future.
"Sold Out"
Silly Zelda one-shots are silly.
An Old Threat in a New Era
I wrote this Zelda fanfic during the summer of 2000 with Erico (another author on this site). Here, it's in a perpetual state of revision, but Erico still has the original version in his library.
The Lost Hero
I first began writing this Zelda fanfic in 2002, and though I got pretty deep into the writing process, the story is on hold. This is also my only story posted here with a first-person voice.
Rewriting History
I considered this Zelda fanfic finished back in 2003, but it was a rush job. I didn't like how it initially turned out, so I scrapped the old chapters and began rewriting it from the ground up. A few chapters of the reworked version are already up; however, don't expect more than that for some time.
Other Works (Not posted on this site)
"Ocarina of Time: Rearranged"
This comedic collection of altered scenes from Ocarina of Time has been sitting on my hard drive collecting dust since 2002.
"The Naked Truth"
This humorous Zelda oneshot was posted on here for some time, but I've since taken it down for its offensive content. If I'm ever to repost it, it's going to need a beta reader with an eye for humor and a sense of tact.
"Locked Up"
A Zelda sidequest story from Ocarina of Time that centers around the premise of Link getting locked up in Gerudo Fortress after getting caught for sneaking around.
"Asleep"
This short story focuses on the question of what the Hero of Time's dreams looked like while he slept for seven years in the Sacred Realm. Like The Lost Hero, it's told from a first-person perspective.
Dark Threat Rising
At the turn of the millennium (2000 AD) I made my first foray into fanfiction, the Zelda franchise being my first attempt. I never posted this piece of fiction on this site, as it reflects the horrendous writing of my more youthful years. Perhaps a future rewrite will find its way alongside the other stories in my library.
From the Ashes
In one day, I sat down and wrote an entire outline for this Zelda fic, done as a direct sequel to A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. Unfortunately, I've vowed not to post another piece of fanfiction here unless it's finished, and I'm also going to wait until I've completed the other stories already in my library.
Hope of the Kingdom
This is a Legend of Zelda fic that takes from the plot of Star Wars: A New Hope. There are no references to the Star Wars universe itself, so it's not a crossover fic.
Shards of Shadow
This is the (unofficial) prequel to my Zelda fic The Lost Hero.
The Choices We Make
AU. Kind of a "What If" scenario for Ocarina of Time. In this story, the Triforce pieces go to the usual suspects (Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf), but not in the way we would expect. The plot is based on Ocarina of Time, but things go a little differently this time around. Link gets the Triforce of Wisdom, Zelda gets Power, and Ganondorf gets Courage, all after one of these three touches the Power of Gold in the Sacred Realm. This story calls for some serious role-reversals.
The True Story of Ganondorf
This Legend of Zelda villain is nothing more than a misunderstood person with very real feelings.
Morning Surprise
On Zelda's wedding day, Link awakens to find her sleeping right beside him. And...things get a little hairy because he's not the one to whom she's engaged.
Transformation
Ocarina of Time told from the viewpoint of Zelda as she makes the transition from princess of Hyrule to Sheikah warrior.
Link to the Future
This is a futuristic Zelda fanfic. All that's written are a few details of the plot and characters. The title is still being worked as well.
How Legends are Made
I usually center my Zelda stories around Ocarina of Time or my own incarnations of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, but this one involves the stories of the original Legend of Zelda and the Adventure of Link. I played these games when they originally came out in the 80s, which is what got me hooked on the Zelda series in the first place. This story will be written as a tribute piece to those titles.
The Great War
Prequel to Ocarina of Time. I'm not yet convinced this is a good idea, as most people here would rather read a story about the Zelda characters they know and love.
