![]() Author has written 4 stories for Total Drama series. Hello! Thanks for stopping by. Look! A profile picture! I was browsing deviantART one day, looking at all the amazing OCs people have drawn, and I wanted to give it a try myself. Total Drama Island is my dearest cartoon obsession. I get more worked up over the Marshmallow Ceremonies than over most actual reality shows. TDI is what got me started reading fanfiction in the first place. And for now, it's the only fanfiction I read. And probably the only kind that I'll ever write, either... But you never know! Things change. I'm Rina. It's nice to meet you. :) - Rina, circa early 2010's I can also now be found on AO3 under the same username, reading and writing fanfiction in fandoms other than Total Drama. (Things have changed.) - Rina, 2017 In the works: The Art of Pretending It Isn't Your Fault: A Fill In The Blank type collaboration with strayphoenix! It takes place on Playa De Losers as soon as Duncan arrives and centers around the mechanics of the DxC relationship. Just remember, Courtney's still pissed about the whole Duncan-cuddles-with-Heather thing, so it's not going to be all rainbows and butterflies. I feel like this story puts the rest of mine to complete shame. But for now, I don't even know if that's a real problem... The inspiration came from strayphoenix's story, Courtney vs. The World, so even though The Art of Pretending It Isn't Your Fault is posted on my page, be sure to check hers out as well. If you are interested in participating in the AUDIO PROJECT or simply hearing the authors read a handful of chapters, visit us here! Email contempephoenix@ if you would like to submit your own audio, or generally communicate with us - we'd love to hear it and share it with the community! Permanently unfinished: Don't Rock The Boat: In the TDA Rock and Rule challenge, Courtney and Duncan were the first to cross the red carpet - what happened next? It's a DxC interaction that isn't fluffy because they (unfortunately) hate each other at that point. But, like usual, Duncan has a half-baked scheme to get things going again... Finished: Fill In The Blank: A series of one-shots that take place on the island. They cover the pivotal moments that are left out of the episodes for unknown reasons. You know, time gaps. I fill in the blanks with my ~imagination~. Chapter 1: Three Hours And Counting from If You Can't Take The Heat Switching between the two teams, just like in the show, we get glimpses of what went on in those three plus hours they had to make all of the food. The kitchen is, after all, a prime location for drama. Chapter 2: Locking Antlers And Butting Heads from Paintball Deer Hunter As soon as we see Duncan and Courtney get stuck together, they're never heard from again. And how did they ever decide which way to head to get back to camp? Full of DxC madness. Chapter 3: A Misguided Mission from Search And Do Not Destroy As Leshawna goes around to everyone, we only see a little clip of each conversation. Follow Leshawna on her whole mission. (You know you love her.) Chapter 4: Keeping Conscious from The Big Sleep We missed four whole days over that challenge! What were the Bass up to? Chapter 5: ...Happen In Threes from Up The Creek There's a lot that needs to get taken care of after the 'heart-shaped hand-made clay bowl incident'. There's a section for each couple, as well as some mixing and matching... Chapter 6: Heather in Wonderland from Haute Camp-ture/After the Dock of Shame Let's just say, when the cat's away the mice will play... If the cat is Chris and the mice are the final five. Based on Alice in Wonderland. The Way I See It: One-shots consisting of character point of views/reflections over momentous points in the show. Featuring deep dives into feelings! Chapter 1: All The Difference after Basic Straining What does Courtney think about her heist with Duncan? If I know her, she's not just going to let it go without thinking up some answers. Chapter 2: From Love after Search And Do Not Destroy Gwen saw Heather kiss Trent. Was she crushed? The answer would be a resounding 'yes'. Is sort of just a little bit really depressing. But hey, it's Gwen. What would you expect? |
