Author has written 2 stories for Rosario + Vampire, and Doki Doki Literature Club. STATUS AS OF OCTOBER 29 2018: Working on an one-shot of Girls Frontline (10,000 words). Expected release date: December 2018. Sorry, I can't focus on writing until I pass the JPLT N2 level. I'm sorry to disappoint you but you will not learn anything about me! Or not. At least not much. You really want to know? Ah screw it, I bet you will scroll to the bottom instead of reading these sentences. I am a 24 something male fan of video games and anime. I also enjoy very much reading, especially the fanfictions of my favorite games and anime! I have been reading fan fictions on this site since high school but I only wrote 2 stories so far. If you read one of my story (hopefully the one about DDLC) and enjoyed it than I would be more than glad! I'm French and English is a language I learned at school and by reading fanfictions (I'm not kidding on this one!) so it's quite likely there are mistakes in my stories :( One very important personal project of mine is to make my own video game, which should be a visual novel at first. I have been thinking of it ever since high school but I procrastinated again and again because of the seemingly absurdly high difficulty of the task. But I'm proud to say I'm getting there and that I should have a demo ready before the end of 2017!!! I really really hope I will not fail this time. EDIT: Ahaha I totally failed that one... The story is the most important aspect for visual novel and that's why I'm writing fanfictions. I see it as a good training for my own original story. But fear not, it doesn't mean I will drop them as soon as I start my original story! I now intend to absolutely finish them, well except for Damn that author as it's already dead (funny how the tittle is so fitting). My favorite game series of all time are : 1) Halo. It was one of the first FPS I played and it was an unforgettable experience. I played and finished on the hardest difficulty Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo ODST, Halo 4, Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2. If I have to choose which series I like the most, then it's probably this one. I didn't play Halo 5 because I don't own a xbox one and because I chose to play on PC instead of consoles. 2) Muv-Luv, especially Muv-Luv Alternative. It's one visual novel, relatively famous compared to other visual novels. And for a good reason. For me, I actually think Muv-Luv Alternative is the best story ever written in any fiction in any medium (game, movie, book etc...). Yeah, it was that good. But I admit I'm quite biased. 3) Final Fantasy. And especially Final Fantasy 7. I'm sure this game really changed my life. Maybe for the worse. But still, it was one very important step in my life. I don't nearly care as much for the other games. While I'm still playing the Halo series even now, I dropped Final Fantasy after FF:XIII. My favorite anime series of all time are: 1) Gundam Seed Destiny. 2) Mirai Mikki. 3) Code Geass. Well but I'm not sure about that list. You may be wondering where are Doki Doki Literature Club and Rosario Vampire in the lists above. Well I definitely liked Rosario Vampire but I can't say it was one of my favorite anime (or manga). Too much harem and not enough plot. I don't like harem. I hate it when the main character doesn't understand the feelings of the other girls and stay indecisive for like an eternity. I also don't like it when some characters are left alone. So yeah, I prefer story where everyone finds their partner. DDLC is definitively one of my favorite game. It seriously left a very strong impression. I couldn't think about anything else for several days after I cleared it. Even two months later, I'm still thinking about it (not in a bad way, mind you). It made me feel fun, love, sadness, terror, despair, hope, anger, surprise and joy. It's the cocktail of positive and negative emotions that haunted me. |
