When I write, a world flashes before my eyes. Not my world, or my life, but a world filled with people who don't know me, and never will. And when I write it's as if I've been invited inside, and I'm breathing the air of a different world. When I write the world around me disappears.

Which is not to say that I'm a good writer. All notes on subjectivity and personal preferences aside, I have much to work on, and sometimes I find it painful to reread past chapters. I can only try to make every successive chapter, paragraph, sentence, word - try to make every one of them better than the last.

As for Kuraderu: yes, I still love that story! It is not dead. I suppose it's in limbo. However, it is sure to reincarnate...although I must confess I'm nervous about starting again. Will I be true to my characters? I hope the long hiatus wasn't too detrimental.
