Well. Thought I might as well share my ramblings with the world. To its horror or happiness has yet to be decided.

About me: A slightly OCD redhead with a latent medial squint in the right eye who seems to have the worst luck imaginable and is overworked on ward rounds and undervalued everywhere else.

I read mostly slash/yaoi/shounen-ai so aspects of this may be reflected in my writing. If you don't like this, please respect my views as much as I respect yours and don't read it. I don't mind that someone has another view point to mine; with so many people in the world, it is bound to happen, but please don't penalise/attack me for something that I feel I'm giving you fair warning about. I shall always state in the summary of a story whether it is a slash story. If I do not and it later becomes one, I will mention it in an author's note and change the summary. Thank you.

Given my generally stressed and over-packed schedule, updates may be sporadic. I will, however, endeavour to complete a first draft of the story before uploading so that I know it can be completed. Even though updates may be slow, I WILL always finish a story. Maybe not very quickly, but it will be finished.

Few other things. I am English, thus spellings, phrases and words shall be English (i.e pavement not sidewalk). I appreciate comments on spelling as much as the next author, but, unfortunately, I wont correct any spellings that are correct in the UK English dictionary. I wont do it to (for example) American authors.

As a rule, I try not to destroy anyone else's languages. I will not pretend to be fluent in any languages except UK English and Medicine-ese and so, I will not accidentally insult someone's mother by attempting to string together sentences in any other. I may occasionally use odd words if there is no real English equivalent (like sempai) or if a word/phrase is used a lot by a character (like Kenshin and "Oro" or Ryoma Echizen and "Mada mada dane") but I shall refrain from butchering someone's mother tongue.

Pairings. Since I enjoy a variety of fandoms, listing the pairings would be slightly ridiculous.

Last point: I just want to thank whoever reads my stories, whether you review, don't or don't even have an account. Reviews are nice, but I understand that some readers don't want to/cant log in to do so. So I would like to take the time to say thanks to all of them. You know who you are ;)

22.4.13: OK, I know I haven't posted in a long time but my USB stick has gone on the fritz. My entire life was on that USB and as such, I have lost the next three chapters of the Psi Gene, along with several academic papers I have written. The re-writing is currently in progress but I am having to prioritise the academic papers as they have a deadline to them. Thanks for understanding.
