I never understopd why Lee uses that move. Just kicking them in the face would win the fight. No need to showboat.

I really enjoyed the way you have written about every character including things such as shikamaru dad and drinking due to the losses and how each of the konoha 12 have grown and changed due to how team ten have changed and I really can't wait to read the sequel !

Have read this story about 6 times over the years and it still is amazing I really hope you finish the sequel to this one day, as I need the pairings to finish their story arcs!

This was awesome. I goddamn love Shikamaru and he was perfect in this. You really did amazingly well showcasing his leadership abilities and the team ten dynamic makes my heart warm. I’ve always seen those three as extremely close and reading Asuma learn how to deal with them and get close to them was awesome. Their growth was amazing and also Shikamaru’s inclusion of Hinata and Naruto was really well done. Hinata’s progression was really awesome. One of my favourite parts to read was Temari and Shikamaru’s relationship evolvement. Shikamaru’s massive grin when he learned he’s be working with Temari as well as his reaction to her showing up on the Sasuke retriever.
Super awesome and thank you so so much! You’re a very talented writer!

Great stuff! One of the better stories I've read this year. The writing was excellent, with particularly good characterisation and pace... I wouldn't have minded more drastic changes from canon, but truth be told it was different and fresh enough not to bother me at all. Thanks for writing!
