I write to escape reality (because sometimes reality is too painful), to inspire others, and to have control over one thing in my life (although, as all good writers know, characters have a mind of their own). I write to express what is too painful to say. I bury my thoughts in metaphors, characters, plots, everything. I write because it brings me peace and steals me from this world. While I write, I can forget everything and I can make a world how I want it. I can make things happen how I want them to.

I write because it feels right.

I write because I can and I should.

I write because it is a coping mechanism.

I write because it gives me freedom.

I write because I love it.
