Hey Everyone,

I'm Esther and I live in magnificent New England! I work with adults that are developmentally disabled and I love every minute of it! I'm 24 years old and nature lover:) Sadly though, despite the fact that I absolutely love Gilbert Grissom, I'm not a fan of bugs:) EWWW!! Anyone who has ever suffered through an insect home invasion will know what I mean:)

I love to write and I've been doing it since I was at least nine. I have been using this website to do a lot of reading (duh, just like everyone else:) and I am truly impressed by some of the authors that publish here. Some of their writing is absolutely awesome. Just check out my favorites list and you'll see:)

I just started publishing on this site and all of my readers have been totally awesome and supportive. So, if you're an aspiring writer and have a story, or two, or three, and you want to get them out there but are a little scared about what people will say...don't fret. There are enough of us on here that know what it was like in the beginning. We remember how bad our first stories were and how, when we realized how bad they were, under confident they made us. But don't worry, if you really want to write give it a chance and you'll be surprised how awesome your readers can be:)

I don't watch a lot of TV. I'm mostly a movie fan. However, I have latched on to a few shows. My favorites...

CSI: Las Vegas: That's right, nothing but the best! Call me a purest, but the others are no comparison:) I absolutely love GSR and, although I was sad to see him go, I thought it ended perfectly:) sniffle It is my current number one favorite, but don't worry I don't expect it to change:)

Star Trek Voyager: This is where I am not called a purest:) Although I like the other shows too, to me there is just nothing like Kick Ass Captain Janeway and the unbeatable Voyager crew:) Rock on! I was actually sad to see them come home, but only because it ended the show:( sniffle I still say they need to make a movie, dammit! I love a good J/C story and I have read plenty of them:) blushes

HEROES: I do enjoy watching Heroes. I haven't followed it on TV, simply because I keep forgetting that it is on, but I have the first two seasons on dvd and I really enjoy it! My favorite character...right now it's HRG. That man is totally bad ass and I was glad to see him turn sides and sad to see him turn back. sighs

3rd Rock From The Sun: Okay, okay, I bet that through you off:) I think that show is hillarious, brilliant, and so well made! I own every season and I think every episode is LMAO Funny! I love the relationship between Sally and Officer Don. Harry and Vicki Dubcek?? Holy crap, do they make me laugh!! I will never forget when they made love on her mothers kitchen table, smeared with Thanksgiving leftovers, and the turkey carcass on his head!

As a warning, I love to torture my favorite characters. It can so fun sometimes:)

I live with my parents, but not in the basement. (Only because we don't have one:) We get along pretty well and I never really felt the need to move out and we just bought a house together:) I think too many people forget about the ties that bind us, and dammit, we're pretty close:) So to anyone who is about to PM me and make a joke, stop and honestly ask yourself...How good is my relationship with my family? I have four brothers (not the movie, although I did like it:), three cats and two gerbils:) Holy menagery!

Her name was Aurora
She was only five
This is what happened
When she was alive

Her dad was a drunk
Her mom was an addict
Her parents kept her
Locked in an attic

Her only friend
was a little toy bear
It was old and worn out
And had patches of hair

She always talked to it
When no one's around
She lays there and hugs it
Not a peep of sound

Until her parents
unlock the door
Some more and more pain
She'll have to endure

A bruise on her leg
A scar on her face
Why would she be
In such a horrible place?

But she grabs her bear
And softly cry's
She loves her parents
But they want her to die

She sits in the corner
Quiet but thinking,
" God, why? Why is
My life always sinking? "

Such a bad life
For a sad little kid
She'd get beaten and beaten
For anything she did

Then one night
Her mom came home high
The poor child was hit and slapped
As hours went by

Then her mom suddenly
Grabbed for a blade
It was sharp and pointy
One that she made

She thrust the blade
Right into her chest,
" You deserve to die
You worthless pest! "

The mom walked out
Leaving the girl slowly dying
She grabbed her bear
And again started crying

Police showed up
At the small little house
They quickly barged in
Everything was as quiet as a mouse

One officer slowly
Opened a door
To find the sad little girl
Lying on the floor

It must have been bad
To go through so much harm
But at least she died
With her best friend in her arms
