Hullo. Not sure what to say. I’m Ryan. British. Quite like writing.

For the most part stories will stay in the worlds imagined by DC Comics; the heroes and villains are layered and complex and it allows for some really great stories. This isn't limited to the comics, though – sometimes I draw from elements of the animated universe. It's rare that the films will come into the mix, though I've toyed with the idea of a sequel to Man of Steel (that said, I didn't enjoy the film much).

I try and stick to the limits the author(s) of the work has set. Obviously there's exceptions to this – the worlds of comic books change a lot, so as long as the characters are in recognisable incarnations there’s not much of a problem with that; that is different of course to stories like The Last of Them, where I use what we know from the game and let it evolve from that. Build on, but not violate. That’s a pretty good motto. Yeah. I like that.

I have a lot of fun projects coming up. I hope this is the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship.

And also, thanks to the people who voted for Justice League Divided as Golden Fiction 2013 (Summer Arc). Hopefully I can repeat the win next year with the sequel (sadly, I think it'll be too late).
