@Guest (Jul 03, 2019) – Thank you very much for your another long, analytic and kind review! Or at least I'm assuming you're the same person I replied to just below? I'm sorry, if I'm wrong :( Well, Grimmjow is always fun to write. Just as Nel is. I never intended them to be this prominent characters, but then BOOM! they have their own POVs, dedicated solely to them and their problems, and are no longer just vessels to observe Rukia and Ulquiorra's growing relationship. But as much as I enjoy the idea of GrimmNel pairing, I think I'll leave it for the readers to decide whether they feel their relationship is more platonic or romantic :) (Grimmjow... romantic xD That would be comedy gold!) I feel Sode no Shirayuki, to some extent, feels betrayed by Rukia, but also cares about her, so she did what she thought was the right thing to do - save her and her honour. Also I just like the idea of a zanpakutō as a character - similar to their owner, but with their own mind and will. So I wrote her :) Yes, finally someone who doesn't hate on Orihime! :D Personally I'm not a fan of her, but she's a dear friend of Rukia that cares about her and vice versa. That's why I'm going to write her as an important character, and as caring and clumsy as possible. Sense of duty is strong in Rukia, and I hope to reflect that in the next chapter. To be honest, sometimes I wish I made Ulquiorra even more ruthless or colder, but then the plot progress might have been really slow or even got stuck somewhere, so to avoid that I made him a little bit more responsive to our lovely heroine ;) As for Rukia, I've heard already that she cries a bit too much, and I'm inclined to agree. Now that I'm rewriting older chapters, I'm trying to make her a little bit more reserved about her emotions :) Take care and stay safe!

That's odd, I always thought that my Rukia is pretty accurate, it's Ulquiorra that I'm never sure about ;) If you could point out those bits of OOC in Rukia, I'd appreciate it, though I think it might be too late to correct them. But it's always good to know :) Personally I quite like ByakuRuki pairing, it's not like they're related, but at the same time I understand how someone could find it gross :D As for Grimmjow, well, he's too awesome to be anything else ;) Cheers!
