When Phil Coulson's estranged husband is killed in a car accident, Phil find his life turned upside down. Thankfully he has friends, new (Clint) and old (Melinda) to help him through financial problems, thuggish debt collectors, and finding love again.

Coulson was Skye's father, which made him the mysterious man looking at her photo in the chair, it also made him the monster that apparently destroyed a Chinese village. This isn't about father and daughter, this is about a man that has ruled the universe for a century. Phil evolved, is still curious about what happened to the love of his life using a former enemy to find him. C/C

AU - Phil couldn't understand why anyone would want to sit next to him on a near empty train when there are plenty of seats available, especially a very good looking man obviously out of his league in the handsome stakes! Then he got kidnapped by Centipede On his return, Clint needed to see if Phil was alright for himself but he brought someone with him, not realizing the damage that had really been done to Coulson by Raina ad associates.

It was an easy rescue, to go in and get the captured Shield agents out, no problem, but someone seemed to have neglected to tell Clint Barton who he was there to extract. A female Agent of Shield, a Male Agent of Shield and a just about Walking, Dead, Man of Shield!
