I am an avid Star Trek fan and have been so since growing up watching TOS. Voyager is a special favorite and the Janeway Chakotay relationship hooked the hopeless romantic in me and is now a favorite for story writing. TPTB may not have let them get together, but I sure as heck do!

I am a graduate of Washington College, a small liberal arts college in Maryland, and completed work on my master's degree in peninsular Spanish literature at Indiana University Bloomington. I speak four languages and have published work in three, but I now devote my creative urges to writing Voyager J/C fanfic.

When not writing I am often reading as I believe you have to be a good reader before you can be a good writer! I mostly read contemporary fiction and "the classics" (those heavy old books written by dead people) and, of course, I enjoy reading Star Trek books & fanfic. My other hobbies include gardening, collecting dolls, playing with yarn (knit-crochet) drawing & all sorts of arts & crafts as I have to be creative. I also have a variety of pets that are my greatest joy in life. I recently adopted a retired Greyhound and I'm working on getting her trained & settled in. They are great dogs who deserve good homes after being exploited by the dog racing industry. I was diagnosed with RA in 2010 and, unfortunately, that has greatly changed my life as I fight this horrible & painful disease.
