Author has written 1 story for Bleach. Updated 7/13/09 Alright guys, first let me say that I'm really sorry. Really sorry. I haven't updated any of my stories in forever and haven't responded to any of your reviews (although I have read and appreciated every single one.) This is what happened: last October I got back into my Bleach groove and had enough free time to write up a chapter for A Second Chance that I'd been looking forward to for a while. I also uploaded a story that'd been sitting on my computer for ages while I was in my Harry Potter groove. So it was all well and good, I uploaded those two and had about half a chapter for each story written up on my computer that I was determined to finish by the end of that week. And then my FUCKING (sorry for language) computer died. No really, it DIED. Nothing on my hard drive was recoverable (which included some Photoshop pieces I'd been working on) and the Apple people had to replace all the guts in my laptop because they couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with it. So, a month later and I have my computer back. All my notes, outlines, ideas, and chapters are gone and I was getting piled on work from midterms. So, understandably, I put off writing for a little bit until my muse decided to make an appearance. Then something else happened. Bleach decided to be a bitch and start sucking. I don't know about you, but pages and pages of fights do absolutely nothing for my muse. So I did the only thing I could and jumped fandoms. I went from Batman (after finally seeing The Dark Knight) to Heroes (because all the episodes were available online and a new season was on) and finally to Superman. This probably sounds incredibly geeky, but Superman is fucking awesome. Okay, I admit he's a bit boring because he can pwn anything in .3 milliseconds, but that's not why I got obsessed. If you are a hopeless romantic (like moi) then you must give Lois and Clark a chance. I watched Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (which remains my favorite despite the cheese ad early 90's), then watched Superman Returns, then watched Superman: The Movie and Superman II, and then finally watched select episodes of Smallville (season 8 is to die for, but ignore the finale). The fandoms for all of these are very well established and the stories beautifully written (with the exception of most the Smallville archives and some Superman movieverse). But the romance between Lois and Clark in everything is just amazing. I can't even describe it. Because the story's been going on since the 1930's the love story has been refined to the point of perfection. Plus it's iconic, because everyone's heard of Lois Lane and Clark Kent. Just give it a try if you have the time. Back to the matter at hand. It's now summer, and all I have going on is dance and a few odd jobs for school, so my muse is back up and running, at least for Restricted for a Reason. Bleach is still sucking right now, but I have not abandoned A Second Chance. It's going to be really hard for me to start up again, what with the loss of my outlines, ideas, and Bleach sucking (have I said that enough?), but I am going to keep writing the story, mainly because I've gotten such a wonderful response from you guys :) So that's enough ranting for now. Hopefully I'll see you guys soon in one story or another. Peace out. |
