![]() Author has written 8 stories for Black Lagoon, Claymore, and Rosario + Vampire. About the author: Now, let's see. I'm currently a second year high school student from Finland. Other than fan fiction, I like to spend my time with literature in general. That meaning, I like to read books and Japanese comics very much. Some of my favorites are all the works of Margaret Atwood, the A Song of Ice and Fire-series by George R. R. Martin, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke and Tolkien, of course. As for manga, so far I've been most impressed by Death Note by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, Monster by Naoki Urasawa, Berserk by Kentaro Miura, Hiroki Endo's stories and Claymore by Norihiro Yagi. Although manga has been holding my interest more as of late, I still enjoy anime too. From that section the most notable ones for me are Evangelion, the one that sucked me into the whole fandom of Japanese pop-culture in the first place, Code Geass, and Black Lagoon. Aside from the Japanese entertainment, one of the oldest and most passionate hobbies of mine is music. To be more specific, listening to it. Although I can't avoid saying the cliché of being amenable towards pretty much everything nowadays, I suppose I can still narrow it down to anything a bit heavier to give you at least some idea of what I really like. Naming a band or two, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Katatonia, and HIM are the first ones popping to my mind at the moment. Even though everything of the before mentioned applies to me very well, I've thankfully come to find pleasure in more active ways of killing time as well. Running, swimming, and cycling are my picks from there. About fan fiction and me, it all started in the year of 2005. The first story was a pathetic self insert, written into one of my notebooks and dead after the first few pages. So I didn't get very far with that, and my brief flame for writing ceased as quickly as it had turned on. A couple of years passed, and I was hit by an idea yet again. This time the idea was a pretty decent one, at least in comparison to the sorry S. I. scribble. It was for that idea I started to seriously pursue on writing and joined here. Since then new and new ideas have constantly been forming in my head, piled up on my hard drive and finally, the ones you see below, made it to the writing stage and eventually got published. So the working continues, and in the meantime, please do take a look at the stuff I've already created and feel free to give any kind of feedback you might have. As for recommendations for other fan fiction worth of a read, I suggest you take a look at my favorites. Many excellent authors and stories you find there, I tell ya. Write and read on, Moonlith |
