Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter. I'm always thinking of stories in my head, but when I try to put them on paper everything sounds weird. Below are some of my writing attempts. However if you want to read something truly amazing read Promises Unbroken and the rest of the Unbroken Universe (UU) by Robin4 it is definitely the best story on this site, and I have read a lot of stories. For more story ideas visit my favorite stories/authors, I don't add them lightly. A bit about myself (as far as fanfiction goes, I am a huge fan of the marauders, and not a very big fan of the main trio, especially Harry (as made obvious in The Truth Behind the Pansy). I prefer stories with grown marauders but some of the in school ones are good too. A combination of the seventh book and the UU (go robin!) has given me a strange obsession with the side of Severus Snape not often seen in the books (the side we see in the UU), so lately, I have been reading more stories about misunderstood Severus. When I have free time (doesn't happen often), I like to read other fantasy and listen to music (show/Broadway tunes). I also have many many issues with spelling and grammar, and therefore I apologize for you people who cringe when you read mistakes, because my bio will probably give you a seizure, and let's not get into my unbetaed stories. In a completely unrelated note. Those of you who saw the third movie saw Remus when he transformed into a werewolf. I would like to inform you that, according to JK Rowling, that is nothing like a werewolf looks like "the werewolf differs from the true wolf in several very small ways. The snout of a werewolf..." Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, page 172 (she was cut off by Snape) "I never thought I'd meet a third-year class who wouldn't even recognize a werewolf when they saw one." Severus Snape, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, page 171-172 If there are only slight differences between a werewolf and true wolf, explain to me how a mix between Golum (from Lord of the Rings) and a shaved cat can be a werewolf. And if that was true, I think that even a two year old could tell you what a werewolf looked like. Thank you for reading through this rant, the Harry Potter werewolf is just a sore point of mine, and I would like for everyone to know how JK Rowling really wanted the werewolf to look like, again I thank you, and would thank you even more if you would paste the following in your bio, to help get the word around. Help spread the word that werewolves look almost exactly like regular wolves and paste this in your bio And then some lovely quotes by some of our greatest minds: Due to financial constraints, the light at the end of the tunnel has been extinguished. "Some forget it, but go far enough back in any House, and you'll find a commoner who showed uncommon courage or kept his head and took charge when everybody else was running around like plucked geese." - Lord Davram Bashere in 'Lord of Chaos', book 6 of 'The Wheel of Time' series by Robert Jordan "What a marvelous collection of devices! How do they work? What do they do? May I flip some switches?" - The Beyonder: 'The Avengers', issue 261 "Life sucks. Death is only slightly more amusing." - BlackFang The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working when you get up in the morning, and doesn't stop until you get to the office. Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome. -- Isaac Asimov A bookstore is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking. If all the world's a stage, I want to operate the trap door. I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally. The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds the most discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but 'That's funny... Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper. End of Real Profile Even when you cant see Him, GOD is there! if you believe in GOD put this in your profile. If you are a person who acts friendly but has an evil mind and is secretly plotting world domination, copy and paste this into your profile. If you have your own little world, copy and paste this into your profile. For me, crazy is a loose term. Crazy is when you stare at a pencil and laugh when someone asks you what you are doing that is so interesting about the eraser. Crazy is when you have an hour-long sob fest, and then start singing and dancing when your favorite song comes on. Crazy is when you do or say a completely random thing, like "Do you ever wonder where the eraser bits go?" or having a thumbwar with yourself. If you're crazy, copy this onto your profile. | |||||||
