ok, first off what I am about to say is my opinion, so don't take what I say as everything but this morning as I was writing the fourth chapter of my into the unknown, I had this moment, and then I start to think about it a bit more and then it hit me, on the series of The Race to the Edge, or rtte for short. so I about to say is more of question the everything but here it is, why in the episode a gruff separation, is the thorston coming of age trials have a dragon eye lens of all things? and we know that dragons were found long ago by thorston, now I gonna say what I need to say first.

so I write Ruffcup which for those that don't know it the paring of Hiccup and Ruffnut, e.g hiccstrid is the paring of Hiccup and Astrid. but I start some time ago but now since the start, one idea that has been in my mind for 8 months is that Hiccup and Ruffnut are more then they seem and could be part dragon in a weird sense, I can't explain why I think this, but when Ruff is on the wing maiden island the wing nut approach her no one else.

and hiccup understands and questing about everything right.

now my theory before I go, we know that Hiccup name is passed down to a runt of the family so we know by now that hiccup is the third in the line, now Ruffnut has middle Eugene which would mean her name is common or not but by having a middle name it would say that there may have been a few Ruffnuts in past, and we can guess that dragon eye was made by Hiccup very great-granddad or his direct line. so, in theory, they could be more then friends. and the idea that no haddock or Thorston has married ever. but there, again I say this my opinion so don't take what i have said to fact ok.
