Author has written 3 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, and Harry Potter. Time for some junk about me. Because I am narcissistic and whatnot. Well, not really. But I do use imcomplete sentences. Fear me. Name: Akukama (AH-koo-KAY-ma) or Aku for short Name Backstory: In third grade, my best friend and I created a language. She forgot it. I didn't. My name means "Girl of the birds" and it fits me rather well, since I like birds (and all animals, really) more than I like people. Aliases: Kiren Brockett, Darth Umbra, Montparnasse, Wren Language: English. But I know too much Latin and fragments of Urdu, French, Spanish, and Arabic. And I'm fluent in Akuish. (see above) All three dialects. I used to know German when I lived there, but I've since forgotten every word of it, and, after fighting it off once, my mind has developed some strange resistance to anything German. Hair: Dark, thick, long. Not nearly dark, thick, or long enough. Good for hitting people in the face when they laugh at me for getting my hair stuck in things. Eyes: Uninteresting brown and squinty. Covered by thick bronze-rimmed glasses. I am told I have long eyelashes. I couldn't care less. Skin: A weird tone. As pale as my mom's, and as olive as my dad's. Height: Taller than you. Age: I forget. No, really I do. I'm a year younger than everyone in my grade, and it confuses me. Hobbies: Reading, writing, debating, editing, pretending there is no such thing as reality, umbrella dancing, singing incessantly, deluding myself, observing things, plotting to take over the world, listening to music, trying to raise one eyebrow, making random lists of nothing, glaring at people, playing with my dog Friends: The Peeps, an elite group of current and former high school students experiencing a lack of sanity. Favorite Book: -stares at you- You want me to choose one? Favorite Movie: Same response. Pets: A darling Airedale terrier puppy named Toby who makes life worth living, and who I would defend to the death. Mottoes: I reject your reality and substitute my own. Piracy is grand. Normalcy is bland. Real men fight by singing in counterpoint. I am: Pensive and analytical. Sleep-deprived. Introverted. Moody. A cynical hopeless romantic. 98 percent Machiavellian. An INTP. A fervent Jacobin. Against chatspeak. Nerdy. A Shakespeare fan. Things I Adore: Phantom of the Opera, Discworld, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, animals, Sweeney Todd, Craisins, Star Wars, British accents, Les Miserables, Star Trek, Monty Python, Shakespeare, Wicked, Evita, CATS, the Beatles, the French Revolution, Kim Antieau books, many other books, my friends, my family, Scarlet Pimpernel, hats, my pencil collection, traveling, being a grammar fiend, witty insults, getting good grades, singing, and bad weather. This list is not in any particular order, it is not complete, and I will add to it as I see fit. At the moment, my only two posted fics are Hexagon and Child of Mine. I wrote Hexagon several years ago. My interests have changed since then, so I currently have no plans to post the rest of it. If you actually want to read the rest of it, though, tell me and I'll be happy to type it up anyway. Child of Mine is a work in progress; in other words, I am making up the plot as I go along. Reviews will keep me going, so please submit them. I don't just want compliments - I like to know what I'm doing wrong - so go ahead and tell me every mistake you can find. I feed off of criticism. XD This story can generally be summed up as "Let's inflict children on Snape and Wormtail and see what happens" but it's mostly an AU fic focusing on a handful of children and their parents. If you suggest a plot point, I might just use it, so... feel free. I'd be happy to beta things for people, mostly from the fandoms I listed above. Beta-ing makes me happy. It is not a chore. I occasionally edit articles for my mom's magazine when I'm bored. It would make me gleeful if I got to beta things for people. -hinthint- Current Main Obsessions: Les Mis, Scarlet Pimpernel, French Revolution, Discworld, Harry Potter, Star Wars Yep. That's it for now. Two of my friends, Schmerg_the_Impaler and Tomato Sauce, have accounts here. Read their fics, for they are good. That's an order. |
