So, Voldemort seriously takes a wrong turn and targets the Dursleys, and poor Dudders is the boy that lived.

And yay for Peter! He was smart enough to realize that neither he nor his friends would be safe if the DEs got him, and so...he made sure he wasn't got.

I adore Hermione Lily Snape. She will do well.

I just found your story and it sounds really interesting and different. Poor Snape. He was frustrated by Hermione at eleven. I can only imagine his blood pressure increasing by dealing with her at two. That's okay. He'll learn. I do worry how she'll turn out being raised around the dark crowd, though.

So if the Potters have been in hiding for over a year, I'm guessing Wormy's still living with them and the Longbottoms are safely hidden away, too. I'm curious as to the status of the war and if it's as bad for the light side as it was in canon or if something's leveled out the playing field.

Don't worry too too much about timeline continuity. It's fanfiction after all. If you worried about canon then Wormtail would still have been a traitor and life would have gone on as JKR planned. Consider your change a fanfiction adjustment. Maybe Evan didn't go on the mission that led to his conviction in your universe. Odette came down with a sickness that night and they had to take her to St. Mungo's or something and another death eater went in his place. See? Problem fixed!

Once upon a time I found a story that I liked. Turned out it only had two chapters. Turned out it hadn't been updated since 2011. Just my luck. Good story though. Why is it always the good ones that end up unfinished?

Ack! Over so soon? It felt like it had barely started. Do you still intend on continuing it? If not, what happens? I'm eager to read more.

This is fascinating. I really like your characterization of Pettigrew and rats in the first chapter, and Snape's characterization in the first paragraph of this section was spot-on.

Now this is a very interesting turn of events. Clever.

This looks as though it will be quite interesting; I don't think I've ever seen Snape given charge of orphaned baby!Hermione. Not quite as sure about the Pettigrew bits, but they will probably be good, too, once the plot progresses further. Loved Narcissa in this chapter, too.
