As Rapunzel sets out on her journey, Varian is taken to the castle dungeon. In her guts, Arianna can feel there is a lot of pain behind his anger, but how can she help ? Unfortunately, one person thinks that just being kept in a cell is not enough payment for such actions…

It hits her one day that Nya can't quite remember how Lloyd went from being the brat of their worst enemy to the heart-of-gold little brother they'd all die for. Or, the story of how Kai and Nya eventually ended up adopting the demon spawn as their honorary little brother, and the resulting chaos. Latest: the ninja take on pirates and the perils of finding a free dojo to destroy.

Set during Varian's time in prison after the end of Season 1. We see Varian through his heartbreaking struggle with guilt and grief, his trial, and beyond. "At the time of his crimes, Varian felt like he was backed into a corner, and the only option was to fight his way out. Right now, he really was backed into a corner, but this time he knew better than to fight."

Statistically speaking, Lloyd had always known his chances of keeping all his limbs weren't exactly great, but that knowledge really doesn't help a whole lot now that he's down an entire arm. Luke Skywalker definitely had it easier, no matter what Nya says. Update: Lloyd learns what closure is.

Varian has been taken by Cassandra, but does she realize how much each of her actions would add a new turn of the screws to the boy's tortured mind ? One-shot. Flashbacks of "Cassandra's Revenge".

A one-shot, set during Cassandra's Revenge, after the final battle. Varian got out of the stronghold, in more than one way. What if he had been more affected than he let on ?

The fun part about coming out of disasters alive is getting to put yourselves back together afterwards, but at least they're all together this time. And just in time for the holidays, too! If they can pull this off (and certain people don't escape the hospital again) it might be a good one. Latest: Christmas morning finally shows up, along with the last chapter of this fic.

(...and it is, technically, Lloyd's fault this time.) Planning Lloyd's first birthday with them is proving more difficult than Cole had thought it'd be, because one, no one really knows how old he is anyways, and two, they're a full two days late now because no one in this family owns a calendar, apparently.

Lloyd is a lot of things, but he's not jealous. The empty feeling as he watches Kai and Nya walk away with their parents could be any number of things. At least, that's what he's trying to tell Cole.

Cyrus' hand hovers over the "Kill" switch. He doesn't want to do this. There's been too many blackouts and power outages for the entirety of Ninjago to handle. Lloyd's outbursts were too much work to reboot and he was still building him a prototype body. (Based off of an AU) (Alt Title: Lloyd Dies and Becomes an A.I.)

At the end of the day it's just another battle, just another endless cycle of repeated fears to deal with yet another time, so Kai and Lloyd get to work and start repairing things again. (March of the Oni spoilers!)

It's not even Lloyd's fault this time, really - he just happens to have terrible luck and a horrible sense of timing. It only makes sense that his bad luck would double then, if there are two of him running around (aka the inevitable movie!Lloyd meets show!Lloyd fic).

Lloyd can't sleep, more like he wouldn't. It's starting to become a problem. And if Lloyd can't sleep, then the ghost under his bed can't haunt him. So, Lloyd decides to start a conversation with him instead. (Dialogue-Only)

A list of things Kai hates right now, in no particular order: the ocean, sharks, and the fact that Sensei Garmadon has no idea how to properly celebrate defeating the Overlord. But most importantly the ocean.

Maybe it's coincidence, but the further Lloyd gets, the more it seems that the color green naturally attracts tragedy to its wearers in the worst of ways. (Written for Ninjago Angst Week, the theme being betrayal)

It's not strange, per say, that Lloyd goes missing again, but that doesn't mean it worries Kai any less. After everything with Morro, he thinks he has pretty good reason, actually. (Or, a small post-Possession oneshot where Kai is slightly over-protective and Lloyd copes. Sort of.)
