My Likes and Dislikes

I like: cats, wizards, tea, period dramas, the sci-fi and fantasy genres, history and mythology, magic.

I dislikeheights and enclosed spaces, procrastinating when you need to work, sleeping too much (or not enough).

And most of all- that horizontal line.

My Writing

I write almost exclusively on Final Fantasy- Squall, Rinoa, Selphie, Irvine, Yuna, Tidus, Rikku, Ashe, Rydia. I try to follow or expand on canon in these series. I also want to write lots on Harry Potter, but rarely manage to make it into fan fiction (generally it just appears as rants). There are some incidental characters who strike me in various works (I love Rian and Mairie from The Age of the Five, some of the werewolves from Twilight, Naruto and Hinata, Howl and Sophie), and I rarely follow cannon when writing these characters. I love Firefly/ Disney/ LOTR/ Ghibli/ various animes- but I haven't found a part to write for them yet.

(I'm afraid I'm generally stuck in the romance genre.)

I get my inspiration from lyrics (mostly), quotes (occasionally) and original thought (rarely). I appreciate most feedback if meant constructively rather than to be purely critical.

Sidebar: I hate everything i published here before 2008- I don't delete it for the sake of an honest account and because I no longer have this stored in any other place. But please believe me when I tell you- I know. It's bad.
