Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. Io.sono.Emilia, which means 'I am Emily' in Italian. I'm an illustration student--final semester!--at the American Academy of Art, in my hometown of Chicago. It's not easy, but I like it. As for writing stories- I loved it while it first happened, and I definitely want to get back to it. I have a few ideas floating around (and partially written on my computer) that may one day turn into legit stories... But, we'll have to see. School and The Future are a bit consuming at the moment, but I'm trying to write more. I'm also over on Mugglenet ( ), under LaneTechFreshie, for the information of various people that have written me saying, "I've seen this over at Mugglenet, Plagiariser!" I'm not plagiarising anything; I'm merely posting the same story on two different sites. Please, don't send me a message stating this. Also, can we try to NOT write "icky" things in reviews? I mean, seriously. If you've got something to say to me about the story (that's not exactly flattering) can you message me and not air your opinions for everyone to see? And anonymous reviewers-- I'm still not going to know who you are, and I'd like to respond to you and talk. Thanks. Favorites books/novels/stories: The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and The Chronicles of Narnia, naturally. The Circle Series by Ted Dekker is...whoa, indescrible. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers takes my breath away. The DragonKeeper Chronicles by Donita K. Paul are great, and The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede is a total favorite. I love retold fairy tales (Spindle's End by Robin McKinley is probably my favorite in that genre). I'm a romantic after Jane Austen's and L.M. Montgomery's hearts. Oliver Wilde is delightfully witty, Charles Dickens is amazingly complex, and Shakespeare- oh, Shakespeare! Favorite movies/films: The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter, again, naturally. Star Trek is great; Disney (& Pixar) movies are utter brilliance. Romantic comedies/dramas are great pick-me-ups; favorites are: You've Got Mail, The Man From Snowy River, One Fine Day, French Kiss, and The Cutting Edge, and too many more to name. Little Women (with Wynona Ryder) makes me cry; Pride & Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightley) and Persuasion are so wonderful. The Classics (ie Casablanca, An Affair to Remember, Singin' in the Rain) I respect (and love). The Artist made me cry. "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave Himself for me." The quintessential believer's verse: Galatians 2:20. |
