Oh mercy me...God bless catastrophe...

We were each born to a family who sought normalcy. Fortunately for both of us we're strong enough to not be dissuaded by such a lackluster ambition. Like everyone else we have a series of congruent shielding bubbles which allow us some measure of anonymity and control over who sees what and just how far in they get. We're well aware a computer screen and several dozen states, if not continents, separate us and anyone who might be reading this. It gives us the flexibility to be more honest - something refreshing, I assure you. Don't judge, you're just as weird. Maybe you hide it better, maybe not.

We are each a daughter, sister, friend, aspiring humanist, hopeful heart, sick optimist, ambitious doer…above all, dreamers.

Do you really care about my likes and dislikes? Can we be reduced to a simple list? Superficially and superfluously – yes. Actually – no. How to say all of this without making this sound like a personal ad… fond of sunny days and long walks on the beach…no wait, that’s what we were trying to avoid right? We live somewhere in the continental US but have visited many places as far as Japan as close as the house next door. Stoic is originally from Michigan and Harley from Florida; now both Florida girls. We both actually do prefer the sun to the night and cloudless to stormy skies. Cold weather is the pits and snow, albeit pretty, is far more unpleasant that white sands and palm trees. Sleep is a waste of precious minutes that could be used for something more meaningful. We enjoy writing but like pushing the limits. We have written in many genres – including our own – but lately we're happy and comfortable playing with the creations of others.

Best friends for many years it’s not something that can be made sense of, we have since stopped trying and rather embrace it for what it is. We share all our ideas and mix our writing freely. That is to say that neither of us controls what we do, nor do we fight over it. It’s lucky really. Forgive us as we tend to get wordy and sometimes science-y as we explore our topics and content of story.
