Author has written 7 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Mass Effect, Elder Scroll series, and Fallout. 04/14/2016: I seem to have this innate tendency to fade into the background. I've been a regular on this site now; reading new updates on my favorites and chatting with friends. Unfortunately, video games are my new form of relaxation after work which limits my writing time to very few and far between moments. I've got a wee bit of writer's block on the second chapter of Moonlit Tales which is why the release is so delayed. To compensate, I've been working on The Valor of Charlemagne's Court: a Fallout fic after I grew disappointed at the lack of decent dialogue. It's been fun and exciting, which is where the majority of my attention lies. Anywho, thought I'd give my profile an update considering the last time I even bothered to check in! 09/1/2014: Moonlit Tales has been officially released! I am very anxious about continuing forward with this story and I certainly hope you will snoop through the available chapters. Teaching, for me, is finally in full swing so updates may be sporadic or sparse as the school year progresses. However, be wary as I intend on posting whenever possible. No more disappearances or abandonment from me! Moonlit Tales Second Chapter Status (04/14/2016): "Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations." 07/20/2014: Wow, has it really been four years since I even glanced at this site? There have been significant changes since I last visited and I think it's well worth the moment to pay tribute to those who have stuck around with me on my excessively long hiatus. For those who have just visited my page for the very first time, I welcome you to my muses. The very last time I logged in - back in 2010 - I was a college student struggling to stay afloat and find herself. Now, things have been changed drastically for the better, as all things do with time. I am now a high school English teacher, which unfortunately, takes up any time I actually have. However, I do have a few moments to breathe, which I utilize for gaming or writing. Most of my writings have transformed to more personal works with independent plots and characters. However, I still continue to work diligently on stories incorporating the ideas of some of my favorite video games. Now, I would like to begin sharing my work once again. My writing style has changed significantly since I first created my account back when I was sixteen. I am more confident and definitely more professional in keeping with the lore and characters of someone else's design. Now to answer a few questions: Can you please beta read this? Sorry, but no. I received so many requests during my absence and now I grade papers for a living. Teaching has deteriorated my need to edit other people's work. While I appreciate the requests, I work with students who require constant time and attention to their writings. How often will you post? I don't plan on keeping myself on a schedule. Back in the day, I would update regularly - sometimes weekly - to keep the frothing readers at bay. I realize now what a fool I was because the quantity of chapters inevitably ruined the quality. I will post when I post. Expect longer waits during school months when I have less time to frequent my own stories. Are your interests the same? Yes, for the most part. I seem to watch less and less, but gaming has increased. Mass Effect is still my favorite game of all time and I still follow the X-men movies. Since meeting Steve Blum (the voice of Vincent Valentine and so many others), I have come to respect Vincent a lot more. As always, if you have a question or suggestion, please PM me. I generally try to reply in a timely fashion! |
