This was just... so heart wrenching, so full of depth and understanding of the characters as well as the subject matter; whether their relationship or Vin’s scars. I’ve never been more convinced of these characters. This really was bittersweet because I feel so deeply for Vincent and also heartwarming because of how their relationship developed. That last kiss scene? A masterpiece. Could win all the awards. Should win all the awards.

I'm not sure how I missed this ten years ago (being the avid VinTif fan I was, and there weren't -still aren't- alot of work about them as we know), but at least I've read it now and that's all that matters xD

Your style is lovely! I really wish I had a wider range of vocabulary to describe it, but I don't...so..lovely will have to suffice xD They way you write the setting, your descriptions, really all help to set the mood for the story. I didn't expect anything to really change at the end of the story, so that ending was a real treat haha. (It's strange cause if I read this ten years ago I don't think I would've enjoyed it as much being the immature brat I was LOL. Not that much has changed, but well.)

The last sentence was perfect for the story! I find it hard to end stories right, but you got it down here. I also like the fact that Tifa and Cloud didn't have a strained relationship here, I think many VinTif fics focus on that as a main problem, since it's rather easy (not that it's a bad thing, but it shouldn't be the only focus I feel) so I really liked the way you went about developing their relationship. It wasn't anything super dramatic, and even though she did intrude on him, like Vincent said, she didn't make bigger than it has to be. :)

This was a lovely story, the bit with the scars was really unique. More importantly, I love how you wrote both of the characters and I enjoyed reading Vincent and Tifa's approach to warming up to one another, beautiful work.
