I'm having a go at writing an Endeavour story. It's one of my favourite TV programmes, I love all the characters and I hope I will enjoy the challenge of bringing them to life in these pages. I have set my story somewhere in Series 5 though I have changed one or two things, so it is not 100% accurate in terms of the plotlines in that series. Hope you enjoy it and PLEASE REVIEW!

Morse's gaze softened as he reached up to brush back her hair. Her very reddish-browny-blonde hair, Jakes belatedly realised, the same shade as Morse's. In fact, looking at them both now, he could see more similarities. The rounded ear tips, the gentle shape of the mouth, the smattering of freckles across the nose and cheeks. She was, without any doubt, his. Morse had a daughter.

Endeavour is struggling with the aftermath of his hallucinogen poisoning at the hands of Wildwood groupie Emma. When Thursday takes him under his wing, he finds that things are far worse for his young bagman than they first appeared.

After years of trying to make it work, Endeavour and Joan have finally made it work. Joan's children are grown now and in some ways life has come full circle.

Quite a few years have gone by since Joan returned from Leominster. Both Morse's and her lives have changed in ways that neither expected. A lazy day of reflection for them both.

AU set in the present day where the whole squad is in elementary school. Poor little Endeavour is picked on all too often.

In this au set in the 21st century, a cryptic, shady detective joins the ranks. There are many whispered rumours of her past, and people walking by often eye her with mistrust. Morse is told not to trust her, but will he take that advice?

Suppose when Joan came to Endeavour's apartment after Ray had hit her, that he had not proposed. Rather he had tried to help her as best he could, knowing that he would be leaving for London soon. Things may have turned out differently.

He reached for his head with his hand, only to find out he couldn't move it at all. Morse sucked in a breath and for a moment blind panic was all he registered. He tugged at his arms, but the ropes with which they were bound only scraped at his skin. The flash of panic chased the remaining fog away, and his situation became ever so clear. This wasn't good at all. (COMPLETE)
