Dumbledore Gets Ripped a New One

A/N: well here's the third and final Chaser. Sorry for taking so long to get to her. She may be last, but definitely not least at all.

Angelina Johnson

Dumbledore looked up at the Johnson home. He was here for one reason and one reason only. Harry was last spotted with Angelina last at King's Cross Station. He hadn't returned to the Dursleys and that was bad. Harry needed to be with his relatives, it was all for the Greater Good after all. He walked up the sidewalk and knocked on the door. There was nothing for a few moments then the door opened to reveal Angelina. She was wearing a t-shirt and shorts showing off her tone body. Dumbledore restrained a look of askance. He wasn't as old fashion as a certain Weasley matriarch, but he wasn't fully open to these kinds of fashions either.

"Headmaster, what brings you here?" she asked confused.

"Ah Miss Johnson, I'm here to ask about Harry" Dumbledore said with his usual twinkle in his eye, "he didn't appear back at his aunt and uncle's home after leaving the station and you were the last to see him. So I was wondering if you knew where he had gone?"

"No sir, I haven't" Angelina said shaking her head.

Dumbledore frowned as he could sense he wasn't being told the whole truth. His many years of being an educator has honed his senses so he could tell when a student isn't telling the truth.

"Please Miss Johnson, it's imperative I know where Harry is, he's in danger and needs to found and kept safe" Dumbledore said.

"Again sir, I do not know where Harry is" Angelina said keeping a poker face.

Dumbledore's frown deepened. This was getting mildly annoying now with Angelina stonewalling him. The two stared one another hoping for the other to break. Dumbledore felt quite confident in himself in this since he's had plenty of experience in staring down stubborn students in the past and them breaking. What he didn't know was Angelina wasn't like many of his past students. She had a will of iron. That and her parents worked as lawyers. So she knew how to withstand a hard stare.

"Miss Johnson" Dumbledore began, being the first to break.

"Sir, I don't know where Harry is, and even if I did I wouldn't be telling you since you have no right to know that at all. It's the summer and we're not in school any more" Angelina said.

Dumbledore frowned at this.

"I'm Harry's magical guardian Miss Johnson. It's a part of my duties to know where he is at all times, even in the summer" he said.

"Then you know that Harry hasn't spent much time at his relatives over the past few years given he came over here a lot, right?" Angelina asked.

Dumbledore's eyebrows rose hearing this. This was definitely news to him.

"I see you didn't know this" Angelina said, "some magical guardian not knowing where his charge is."

"Miss Johnson, as you know I'm a busy person. I can't always keep an eye on Harry all the time" Dumbledore said.

"Oh, now you're backtracking on your original statement on knowing where Harry is at all times" Angelina said as she folded her arms across her chest.

"Miss Johnson" Dumbledore began with a chiding tone.

"Look sir, Harry isn't here and even if he was you have no right to take him back to those… creatures" Angelina said.

Dumbledore's eyes twinkled at this.

"I actually do Miss Johnson since the-"

"They don't, never had really. Turns out the Dursleys never filed the proper paperwork for guardianship over Harry while he's over on this side. So I talked to my parents and they did. So legally Harry is allowed to be here" Angelina said disassembling the headmaster's argument before it could fully articulated.

Dumbledore blinked, this surprised him.

"So removing him from his home here would be kidnapping really and it wouldn't look good for a headmaster to be a kidnapper" Angelina said.

"Miss Johnson, your home isn't well suited or provides the protections necessary for Harry. I erected the wards around Harry's family and they are quite safe" Dumbledore said.

"You know that as a fact sir, have you tested them, know they are actually working?" Angelina asked using the same tone her parents used when they were in court.

"No, but I know they work" Dumbledore said. He wasn't going to say he had objects in his office that monitors the wards.

"Oh, then you know the gaping holes your protections has as well that a sneeze can take them down since they aren't as strong as you think them to be. And that they've never really worked at all" Angelina said.

One of Dumbledore's bush eyebrows was raised at this.

"You didn't I see" Angelina said reading the old wizard's mannerisms, "one summer Harry hired a warder to check if there were any actual protections around his relative's place like there had claimed to be. There were, but according to the warder, who is an expert in his field by the way, saw how shitty the wards were put together and said even a seventh year in a runes class could do a better job than what he saw."

Dumbledore opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off.

"And before you try to cast shade on the warder, Harry got him through Gringotts and you and I both know how good Gringotts is" she said. "He even wrote a full report for us to back up this claim being quite detailed just in case it was needed."

Dumbledore was really not liking where this was going. He needed to get Harry and quickly. He was mentally debating on stunning Angelina comb through her home and then erasing her memory whether or not he found Harry. This was all for the greater good after all. With that he pulled out his wand and did so. He didn't find Harry at all, so he left unhappy.

Angelina groaned as she woke up. She hated she had to play stunned. But it had to be done. She was wearing a special medallion that shielded her from practically any spell.

"Well phase one done, now time to move on to phase two" she muttered.

A/N: okay, I know this is quite early to ask in this series given I haven't done a lot of characters, but I was wondering how you'd feel if I add in characters from outside the HP world into this. Would you hate, like it, be indifferent, what? Please tell me all your thoughts on it since I really want to know. Thanks for reading and please review.
