Beautifully written story. I had never heard of Stir up Sunday in Canada, though my grandmother made Christmas pudding every year. It sounds like a lovely tradition and quite perfect for Harry, Ginny and their families. The scene where Harry listened to his "family" from the cupboard, could have come straight from canon and made a poignant contrast to Ginny's home life.

I liked the inclusion of religion in this-not too many fanfic authors are willing to insert religion into Harry Potter.

I loved the image of little 4 yr old Ginny helping in the kitchen...too bad Harry didn't get to participate, but then he wouldn't be at the Dursleys' if he did. This tradition of the whole family getting involved in making the Christmas pudding sounds so interesting - too bad we don't seem to have any such traditions like that. Great accompaniment to your "cookies" story! :) Hope you have a very happy & healthy new year!

I wouldn't read 1Ch stories I find them really nice now. Mostly they have a nice message. They don't have time for war that is in most of the longer ones.

Now at least Harry is seeing his dream he had back with his despicables relatives coming to be a reality.
