I absolutely loved this fic. I started reading it as I use finished coda and stop to awatch blood fever and unity sp they fited in to your story and it made the episodes even better. So thank you!

I love how you played the different perspectives off of each other. What they know, what they fear, what they hope. It was well done and left me wanting more if aching for their near miss.
I'm so glad you took the time to let them process and heal a bit from Chakotay's encounter with Riley. Had me agonizing with him as I could feel his same self doubt, loathing and confusion. But it was perfect to have them reach out just enough to heal a bit without fixing it or minimizing it with a sudden intimacy.

I love this story so much. I love the changes in pov, and the inclusion of Tuvok's is great. I really love the way the massage scene echoes New Earth, too. Happy sigh.

So clever! I love the way you explained Chakotay's reluctance to chase after women and how that makes KJ that much more special to him. Perfection.

This was great. I like your writing style. It's great the way the chapters comment on each other, BUT because of that I really think you should have waited until it was finished and posted it in one go!
I loved the ironies all over the place that the characters don't realize.
I also think you really need to work on your titles! Like your other story, this was about so much more than the title makes you think! Or write a longer summary?

I just found this and I'm liking it very much! I don't like Tuvok, though...meddling, but I see his point. This is an interesting look at Chakotay as the weak link in the whole picture, someone guided too much by emotions who makes the wrong choices and gets into trouble. I'm not sure I completely buy the idea of Kathryn being pretty much infallible in comparison; she's certainly made her fair share of mistakes as well. Even mistakes guided by her heart (Gath in "Prime Factors"?) Nevertheless, a plausible explanation for the rift between them that happened so suddenly just after they seemed to be getting so close.

I'm really enjoying your story so far. Another good chapter. Can't wait for more!

Janeway and Chakotay really need to talk.

Like the previous reviewer I also hadn't noticed this first Tuvok POV chapter you've added at chapter 4, so I recommend reading this story from the beginning!

The story made sense without it, but it's MUCH better with it! The Tuvok POV bit is the best part!

I just love that meddling Vulcan! I love how he's unaware of all the subtle flaws in his logic!
