Oh so sweet thanks for a very good read

so sweetly friendmantic (my word for romantic in a friends way).

That was adorable. Gosh, where to start. The whispering from Lisbon and Grace was cute and something I think they'd actually do. Even Lisbon asking why she should whisper was very IC. I loved that in Jane's pain at the beginning he still managed to think outside of himself and to Lisbon and her problems, or in this case headaches. I think that gets over-looked sometimes by fans of the show. Jane really does think about Lisbon's welfare a lot even if it's not obvious. I actually find the subtlety of it endearing. Anyway, I really enjoyed being able to read that here. It course the part where she took care of him was adorable and I had to chuckle at the "authoritative" line. Nice. The part where she brought him the tea was funny too. Loved the shout out to 2.0! Haha! And of course the little cake and Lisbon wanting to freeze it-so cute. This was great! Thanks!

Yes, original and cute. Not stupid or cheesy. How can it be anything but touching for someone to physically care for another and have it reciprocated? Sweet. Thanks.

As the wife of a nurse and sister to a nurse and sister-in-law to a nurse, I truly appreciate what nurses do (and in the case of my husband) what it means when their caring is appreciated by the patient (my husband keeps every thank-you note he's ever been given, for example). I think that Jane's gift was perfect.

What a lovely story! Thank you for writing it. The demonstration of compassion of these two was wonderfully illustrated here. Looking forward to more one shots.

I do wish some of the writers of the series, the Mentalist would read some of this wonderful story. Very true character relationship between Jane and Lisbon. this should be included into one of the shows,. Great work, my dear.

Awww, that was so sweet. Nicely done Jane/Lisbon moments, and yes, they felt in character for me.

I enjoyed that very much. Whiny, suffering Jane, mother bear Lisbon and lots of tea... very sweet. And your insight into Jane's mind sounded very authentic. In the TM timeline: somewhere during season two or three?
