I really like this idea. I don't imagine it'd actually be that easy, but the thought of tidying up one's mind as a method of Occlumency sounds viable.

Although JKR clearly intended that we take umbrage at the actions of her 5th-year Defense professor, the name is actually spelled Umbridge.

That story had some very unique ideas - great imagination.
