This was seriously tragic to read. I mean my god, what a way to end the story. I still enjoyed it but damn. This was sad.

This was beautiful. I love FrUK so much, fem or otherwise. It makes sense that Matthew would lose his mind in the end. His sister, who had been taking care of him until she grew gravely ill, died and his caretaker, who looked after him and his sister and took them under his wing, committed suicide after Francine's death. I assume that Matthew became interested in voodoo as a means to bring them back...?
This story was beautiful and saddening, completely heart-wrenching. Arthur's emotions and his love for Francine are so strong and powerful, and Francine is just a kind prostitute who wanted nothing more than find a means to care for her brother. I loved it.

A very good story, if not sad... but that is what makes it wonderful. Making people feel a certain way, that is. Good job!

oh my god... this is so, so, so awesome, I really enjoyed it. there should be a sequel of Mattew trying to resurect Mr. and Mrs. Kirkland or something like that.

Oh my goodness! That was so heartbreaking, but so good. I listened to the song on repeat through reading the whole thing, and it made it even more intense. Amazing work.
