Awwwwwwww!

I'd have to disagree with Garcia and her comments about male/female logic on this one. I understand the timing would be odd and questionable and raise some eyebrows, but I dunno, a guy sending flowers just to be friendly...I'd like that *Shrugs*. Especially considering Reid's motivations for doing so-his understanding about what all Erin's been through lately (and how he can relate a little more deeply to her problems as a result) makes it all the more meaningful (same with his strong memory being able to help him figure out what sorts of flowers to buy her). And I totally understand everyone's shock at someone on the team making such an open, affectionate gesture of any sort towards Strauss, but still, all the teasing and jabs and whatnot, amusing though they were (I particularly chuckled at Garcia's "Flower Power" comment)-I don't blame Reid for being confused and defensive. I thought his gesture was incredibly sweet and lovely.

I also loved Rossi's random comments as he passed by, and the allusion to the history between him and Strauss, and what Garcia and Reid had seen that day at the hotel. And I loved the opening section with Erin and her kids-I love the kids as much here as I did in "Pay the Piper", with their affectionate teasing about their choices of dates and their typical teenage reactions to Erin's nostalgic mood or motherly responses (and that her attempts to scold still come with amusement). They're such a charming bunch. And it was a nice family moment as well-Erin may not be in a romantic relationship at this time, but it's obvious she's got a lot of love elsewhere in her life.

I'm just sad we won't get to see Reid and Strauss' conversation! I imagine she appreciated the gesture, though, and was in a better mood as a result throughout the day :).

Anyways, Reid is too cute at times! I really like this story, and I want to hear that conversation between Reid and Strauss!
