| agnar chapter 1 . 9/15/2013 Uh, yeah, this is bullshit unless the old guy beating Anko was Sarutobi or Jiraiya. Even if she's 16 she'd be *at least* Chunin since this is set pre-canon, possibly her canon rank of special Jonin. Now she'll get tossed around by Orochimaru. But she'd put up a fight against ANYONE A-rank and kill anyone weaker than that. So how the hell does some old guy beat on her and she hasn't sliced his balls off? Nice, though cliché idea of Naruto getting help from Anko and so on. But the introduction is implausible unless Anko were drunk or drugged, or fighting multiple veteran ninja. And Tenten is great with throwing weapons, but there are at least two ANBU members who would slice her to ribbons in sword combat, so she's NOT the best, just the best academy student. |

| Advent of Shadows chapter 1 . 2/11/2013 To be honest, I kind of lost interest once Naruto said that dango was better than ramen. That's one of those traits that without it makes it hard for me to see Naruto as himself. The chapter wasn't too bad apart from that, but even small things can make a person lose interest in a story. |
