Reviews for The Season's Trilogy II: Season's Ruler
CoteDegbear chapter 5 . 3/28/2014
Nice way to end it, BDLG! Onward to BOOK THREE!
CoteDegbear chapter 4 . 3/28/2014
I never thought I'd find a man, fictional or no, who I thought deserving of Vlad's up-the-ass impalement methods until I read this... .-.
CoteDegbear chapter 2 . 3/28/2014
Good to know that Skyrim's about to be crushed beneath the oppressive foot of Siddgeir, and Jon's spending entire nights banging his wife.
CoteDegbear chapter 1 . 3/28/2014
First chapter and Jon's already getting hard for Ysold. Only you can mix that into good, fulfilling literature, BDLG!
Omega Gilgamesh chapter 5 . 11/30/2013
Ahh, nice. I liked it. Too bad the Jarls essentially have immunity to such attempted-murder tactics. I would've liked to see a certain Jarl back in a torture chamber.
Omega Gilgamesh chapter 4 . 11/30/2013
(add a long ellipsis here) "A fair death is all hearken herald"? I think something was lost in translation there, buddy. Or maybe my grasp of the english language is lacking. The latter's quite possible, since I was raised in the American public schooling system. It's probably not as good as yours, since you English invented the language. Or part of it, modern day english is at least partly of germanic origin, right? I don't know. All I do know is that I'm digressing badly.

Good story, if you could double check that dragonic threat Jon made at the beginning and give me a "For Idiots" re-translation I'd be most, most, mucho appreciative. That kind of stuff haunts me for not understanding it. Yes, I'm OCD like that.
Omega Gilgamesh chapter 3 . 11/30/2013
oh NOES! Will this be the end of Jon and Ralof's endearing and slightly eyebrow raising bromance?
Omega Gilgamesh chapter 1 . 11/30/2013
Okay, just got done re-reading Season Unending, now starting this. I love political plays, this'll be interesting to watch. Read, whatever.
ShoutFinder chapter 5 . 3/21/2013
YES! JARL BALGRUUF IS KI-I-ING! *chants madly*
Sorry, but Jarl Balgruuf is obviously my favourite Jarl...
Woo! Two books by you finished in a day!
ShoutFinder chapter 4 . 3/21/2013
Why do I have to do this now?

DIE, Siddgeir, DIE! *stab stab stabbity stab into the voodoo doll...*
ShoutFinder chapter 3 . 3/21/2013
Oh shit! Oh shit! This was bloody intense!
Excuse the language, but seriously! Why didn't I see something like this coming!?
Proventus, dead? Nooooo...
Don't tell me that Irileth is dead, too!
*sighs* Ralof, why am I not surprised? Seriously? Those are your possible last words? 'Oengul's steel is crap'?
But of course you will survive...
ShoutFinder chapter 2 . 3/21/2013
I'm reviewing! Please! Not Idgrod! *cringes*

A good chapter. Though I'm a bit surprised at Ysold's boldness...
But I read the synopsis of Seasons' End and I think I have a feeling who the bad Jarl is...
ShoutFinder chapter 1 . 3/21/2013
So that is what a Moot goes by?
How intriguing...but this is good, I'm likin' it already :)
I hope Time just FLIES by and Ysold gives birth at the end of this short story...I doubt it will, but I can HOPE!...can't I? And yea Ralof, still the classic Ralof I know.
The Respectable Pureblood chapter 5 . 2/5/2013
An enjoyable read, in my opinion. You have a flair for intrigue as well as battles- looking forward to seeing both in the third story- so well done :)

Bloody hell, Jarl of Falkreath, man. Is there anything redeemable about him? I think not. Liked your characterisation of the jarls, and the brief parts with Ysold, you made them all seem a bit more three-dimensional without leading away from any action or plot. Jon's wife is definitely warming to me. Liked how Baalgruf is the new High King, and Jon's secret power. On to the third!
LurkyKid chapter 5 . 10/26/2012
I really like your trilogy and everything good about it has already been said. However I can't help but notice that you based a lot on ASOIAF, including Ralof being a knight (as far as I know, there is no knighthood in Skyrim), king's title being "your Grace" as well as Jon's title "Warden of the East" which I found unusual since Skyrim to Tamriel is what the North is to Westeros, so the High King of Skyrim would essentially be "Warden of the North".
