Always interesting when you remember how you met your best friend and only Harold Finch could miss the joke on "The Godfather." I have never watched that movie and even I know what Nathan meant and have heard that quote on TV.

I was the least teeny tiny bit disappointed that the story had nothing to do with the Windbourne song of the same name, but hey, you can't copyright titles of songs or stories. Fair game. And I wasn't in the least disappointed in the story. Very nice character piece, with some background into Harold's past. Good job.

This is a lovely look into Nathan and Finch's friendship, and how they might have met. I love this!

This certainly is the way I see the relationship between these two. I wrote something to that extent. Haven't published, not sure that I will.

this is such a beautiful story. You described Nathan and Harold perfectly and the chemistry between them is perfect. I loved the line "it wasn't so bad living in the shadow, when his friend was willing to share the light with him sometimes." great job!
