This is one of the best stories I have ever read so far,please continue writing it again. It is a shame that so many good stories just stop while others that I can't stomach reading just a few lines of get completed. I really hope you don't let azulon die without him and zuko knowing the truth it will be too cruel even if its typical of the progress of events in ATLA for things to go that way for zuko. By the way, I love how you made zuko stay silent about azula's lies, I will never have the guts to think of something like that when I just want to fix my favourite character's life. Excellent work.

This story is incredible! You’ve done an amazing job creating an interesting culture for the Fire Nation. Zuko’s explanations for everything and all the little details you’ve included, like how the sages don’t bow completely to the Firelord or how scribes work, are really interesting to read about. Great job!

Listen, Azula is one of my favourite characters. Period. Not in ATLA, just... ever. Favourite. She's very well written and very complex and has so much potential... and yet, reading this, I fucking HATE her. She's 9, and a victim of abuse, and I hate her. So I've gotta give you MAJOR props for that

I’d feel terrible for the fire lord if Zuko doesn’t uhh “open up”? to him before he goes... like I’m already feeling bad for him and Zuko who is finally having a better life yet Azulas lies are keeping him back :/

It’s so sad that Zuko still thinks about his family even tho they’re horrible...yeah I love him for it and I’m glad he’s all about family and such, but omg is it so sad that he still cares for Azula and his father so much..

Wow - I'm enjoying this. Prince Zuko was always my favourite Avatar character, and seeing him develop in a different setting is a lot of fun to read. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

I have loved this story since the moment you posted it. But I've only recently managed to read it in its entirety. It gives an interesting insight to how court politics can work, the world building is superb and Zuko's character development is splendid. I do feel that Azulon may be slightly OOC but on the other hand, him showing a caring, almost nurturing side is not out of proportion either considering how Iroh turned out to be a man with a good heart.

I do hope you'll continue this one day. Please do because this is truly a work of art

Nooooooooo... we finally get to see Zuko coming into his role as prince: he is more comfortable with his grandfather, his studies are going well, he doesn’t have to deal with Azula (I’m really hoping he never has to meet his old family again!) and his firebending is going better! I need to know what happens next!
Also, I love the way you fixed Zuko’s situation cause he really did not deserve all the mess that was his life in canon. I mean, he was originally a kind kid before he was punished by a father who would have killed him for power and then learns to understand people outside the fire nation. I mean, good for Zuko, but he didn’t need to go through so much as such a young age.
I’m really hoping that you’ll come back to this story! I can’t wait to see Azula’s reaction to Zuko being the next in line to the throne if something happens to her grandfather in the next half year (not that they know that). I love the portrayal of Azulon, it’s not really something I see explored in other stories I’ve read so it was interesting to see your take on him. I’m kinda wishing he doesn’t die anytime soon!

I have absolute enjoyed reading this story. I love the single divergence that you have then woven into a true to character story. Loving Azulon and his interactions with Zuko. would love to see more of this story
