Thanks for the read I have been in that situation it is not nice but suicide is not the answer because there is always some one for some place where you can find someone to talk to and help you.

I don't know how I missed this when you first posted it. This is just so perfect in every way. Jane's desperation, Lisbon's deep compassion and fear of losing him. And a beautiful semi-resolution at the end. This could very well happen on the show...

This is such a bittersweet piece. I think it really portrays the enduring friendship between Jane and Lisbon well, and especially how much he needs her to stop him from tumbling over the edge. I'm going to nominate it for an award on Paint It Red. I hope you don't mind!

He is so alone, and his primary focus is Red John's capture &/or demise. I really wonder what the character will do/feel when his primary purpose for surviving is gone. Excellent story.

Lovely imagery. Even a bit of humor with the remark about Jane possibly falling into the river by accident. You caught his character so very well. Poignant without being over the top. Loved it. You are a very talented writer.

This was beautifully written. It wasn't too extreme nor to underplayed. This is probably one of if not the best Mentalist fanfic I've ever read. Keep writing mentalist fics! :D

Lovely writing - lots of attention to details here - like how soft his voice was on the phone and how it came effected Lisbon. I really like the resolution as well - subtle. I'm not sure that Jane is capable of giving up on Red John - but I can see why you wrote this. He is getting increasingly desperate with each passing episode. Thank you for sharing.

You captured Jane's sense of growing desperation and depression, and heartbreak...perfectly. Follow up? A larger WIP dealing with the ramifications of an obviously para-suicidal Patrick Jane?
