Another great fic! Made me smile how surprised the guys were to see what she had in her bag. That'll never change...

The humor in his voice and the sudden spotlight he cast upon her made Carol wish she had another grenade to toss at the ass just to see how cool he'd be then.

LOL. Love that spark she has. She's got fight in her, that one...

Delightfully light and humorous. I liked Carol's "always prepared" mentality and the fact that she gave the bottle of wine to Daryl. I liked the wry comment he made and her sense of uncertainty and subtle hope about whether or not to take his comment seriously. Great job once again! You were made to write for this pairing. :D

OMG, yes to this. SO MUCH YES.

This was awesome. Carol is SUCH a hoarder...and rightly so. It IS the apocalypse and all.

And the bottle of wine? Wasn't expecting that! But hey, even someone who doesn't normally drink would be inclined to snatch such a thing considering the circumstances.

But of course, what made me grin like a lovesick idiot was "I think I love you."...and Daryl deliberately turning that bottle before drinking.

Perhaps, in that strange, lighthearted moment, Daryl decided he wanted to do something meaningful? An 'almost-kiss', of sorts?

Whatever his reason, it was awesome.
