Lovely story

Finally this episode aired in the UK last night so I could read another of your tags. I liked your reasoning for Lisbon doing what she did and the concept of her trying to prevent him from future pain if he remembered further down the line was a well thought out one. I do think there had to be a bit of selfishness in there too though. I'm sure she didn't want to lose him and that had to play a part in her decision, whether she would admit it to herself or not. It's a difficult thing for me to get my head around though and that final scene of the episode was horribly tragic.

You did a great job of lightening things up a bit as the story went on without taking away from the gravity of the final scene of the episode altogether. I loved the way Lisbon talked about his 'responsible adult friend'. That whole exchange was very funny.

My favourite bit was when he kissed her fingers and squeezed her hand. Whenever anything with hand-holding comes up in a story I feel the need to mention it in my review as I'm a bit obsessed with it. I think it works particularly well for these characters to show how close they are without losing the realism of the fact that they aren't involved romantically. It's what you do so well in episode tags. You show just a little bit more of their relationship while keeping the integrity of the characters. It means I can imagine these things actually happening at the ends of the episodes.

Anyway if you haven't realised by now I loved this. Great job as always.

Also, best part? Lisbon telling Jane he looks like the type to throw hissy fits. Because he DOES.

You really had me chuckling without being able to stop it, you know. I got weird stares from the people on the bus xD

I absolutely loved how you handled this. The seriousness of his "coming back" and his mortification, mixed in with all that sweet, hilarious dialogue. The part when he said how she'd make him remember, and coming off the wrong way had me smirking sooo wide.

But my favorite moment will have to be when he kissed her hand. (And how he somewhat broke the mood afterwards xD).

This was perfect as part of my therapy to recover from last episode's hideousness.

You write these guys so well, perfectly in character, it really feels like an extention of the episode. Must have been a geat one too - pity I have to wait 'till Febuary to see it. This - like all your work - is a joy to read. Thanks for sharing.

Good job! Nice of you to tackle the scene that the last episode left out. I sincerely hope they address this in the next episode. I'm tired of having everything strung out and stepped around.

Anyway, Lisbon is too good for him. The old Jane, at least. Cho was right when he said that Jane's family's death had made him a better person-but I think the CBI's influence has had a lot to do with it. The deaths of his wife and daughter might have been a wake-up call, but the CBI's influence-especially Lisbon's-has been what's kept him going. Among other things.

Love how you said that Lisbon followed Jane into the shadows and persisted in dragging him out, then forgave him when they got through to the other side. Lisbon's so loyal, even to those who might not deserve it on the surface.

Although I think that Lisbon will let him hug her in the future. Not immediately, but after a while.

This episode remineded me how easily we can go from laughter to tears (like the episode were passed away). seeing this side to Patrcik adn how Teresa had to deal with him was very interesting. I guess most people like me wished to could have extended the end a bit, but fortunatelly we have members in fandom that alwaycome of with excelent tags, like you.
