I guess i can't really blame you. I've written Obi Wan deathfics and I've read more...

But he died so ingloriously! (Guess the title should have tipped me off) Anyway, I liked Anakin's reaction to it all, how he wanted to save Obi Wan but there was nothing he could do, and now without him, Anakin's just going to leave the war. That I could definately see happening. I wonder, what would ghost Obi Wan have to say to his grieving padawan? Just a suggestion...;)

You killed Obi-Wan... After he told Anakin he didn't want to die.

Anakin is the chosen one he should have tried to save Obi-wan.

Woah! Powerful! I loved how you used emotions, and the juxtaposition of the cheerful banter and Obi-Wan's death.

Overall, a great, well-written piece of work (although I will never forgive you for killing Obi-Wan)

Wow. Intense, but fantastic! Vivid descriptions and excellent portrayal of Anakin and Obi-Wan, and Cad Bane as well. This was chilling: "We were supposed to die in battle, comrades, back to back in some heroic last stand. It wasn't supposed to be me holding his shivering body as the shock forced his body into a last push for life."

Sigh, admittedly, I'm a bit shaken up after that, but it was well worth the angst. Thank you for sharing this!

Wow. Really. I love this, except the end of course ;) The writing is absolutely perfect. It's so moving, I love the POV, that it's first person, it works fantastically here. I can feel the intensity and the emotion so clearly.

I love the banter at the beginning, reminds us right away why we love them, love Obi here.

I like that Anakin doesn't give in, I love the way it mirrors TPM, and I like that Anakin decides not to fight anymore. I wonder if that holds?
