I really liked this. I think shorter pieces that capture the atmosphere of the game can be way better than chapters-long epics that deviate into AU. This was definitely a case for that. Well-written and apt at conveying a mood. This is brilliant, really enjoyed it. :D

Oh come, now, Terra, it can't be that bad being alone with the "serpent." He probably knows a lot of dirty jokes from back in his youth that he'd be willing to tell you if you just asked.

Terra's always stuck in his sad thoughts. :'( I liked how you wrote out and describe Terra's feelings. He'll get his happy ending eventually.
