This is very, very good. You do a perfect pitch Spock without going to any extremes, and I like how it is his POV without being written in first person. Case in point. "They proceeded through the excitement phase toward plateau together at a typical rate." Doesn't say WE, doesn't say I, but still obviously Spock.

I also enjoyed "But suddenly Jim started snickering, then laughing in the giddy, helpless way that Spock had learned to associate with exhaustion." very true to real life, that part.

Oh yeah ! It was hot !

I agree with Garonne and will add that I was surprised to see that this was marked as reboot. I thought it had a distinct TOS feel to it.
