Lovely. I adore the fact that you point out that there are differing kinds of love. So many fics focus on Gorim liking but never loving his wife. Going the route you chose is very realistic, and honestly makes it more painful and emotional. Lovely read!

I was devastated when my Dwarf Noble got to Denerim and Gorim had married someone else... I was so angry and a little betrayed but this makes it a little easier to see why he would've moved on. Ferelden did think the Wardens had been massacered...

And that last line was so beautiful... almost in tears.

A favourite because it was perfect.

I was glad they had an origin where not everyone the Warden knew is dead or missing or betrayer, because not all breakups are deathly cruel.

This is lovely! Heart-breaking and bittersweet, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The last line is particularly deep, and I think it was the perfect end to this little story.

Hopefully this is what Gorim was actually thinking... he should have been a romanceable companion *grumbles*

Sadness! I loved the idea of Gorim and Lady Aeducan, and I was SOOO heartbroken by the fact that he'd moved on. At least this little vignette shows it from his point of view and he's full of remorse.

Oh, this was so poignant. It's easy to understand Lady Aeducan's side of the story but rarer to see Gorim's. Nice job making me understand and forgive his choice a little more.

This is beautiful. Not many authors understand that sometimes poignancy can be achieved through few words, but it is obvious that you do. This was really great- a very moving one shot. Excellent work.
