| Shinku chapter 1 . 11/28/2010 Actually, the Eskimo Kiss had a very logical reason, or so I've been told. In the regions were the Eskimos lived, it used to get so cold that if they kissed the normal way, their lips would get frozen together, kind of in the same way it would if you licked a metal pole in the middle of winter. Rubbing noses avoided this and still allowed them to still show affection. I'm not completely sure if this is right, but it's the story that I've been told since I was little. I just love this idea. I think you did a good job in putting it together. Spock giving Jim a proper Eskimo Kiss at the end was just priceless! Thanks a bunch for sharing this! -Shi |
