Ah, both versions were great (the whole series was fantastic, actually) but I agree with KtDS - the romance version was better for several reasons, most of which Kahlan already mentioned.

I can't wait to see more MBS stories from you!

The romance version was so much better than the friendship version; the circumstances were character-driven instead of plot-driven and they were much more believable. I enjoyed it immensely, and the fact that I could tell where the lyrics were was a great improvement.

I don't think S.Q. would have said "lest."

"Funeral" isn't spelled "funeruel." Sounds like it, though. ;)
