Reviews for Domestication
Peres chapter 1 . 3/7/2014
Oh, more Morrigan! and although I confess I never can forgive Loghain for selling the elves into slavery (I have ingrained Tabris instincts by now) I really liked him in this - calm, capable, and very much in command of himself and the situation. The way he saw Morrigan as young and vulnerable, and likened her to Anora - perfect. And the line about his difficult children - ! Gorgeous.
Shadowolf chapter 1 . 12/7/2010
Interesting story, I like how you portrayed Morrigan and got the story straight. One version at least.
icey cold chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
This was truly excellent. The Morrigan/Loghain dynamic was spot on. Morrigan's mind was fascinating. Her preconceptions about Loghain and how she regarded the Warden and her "pets" were a great read, as was how she lost control over the situation to Loghain. His reason for accepting Morrigan's offer was surprisingly tender, and I loved their final conversation, especially Loghain's parting line about his children being difficult. Too true, Loghain, too true.

Well done!
sqbr chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
This was really good, you captured the complicated relationships and personalities of the characters without simplifying it all to romance or good vs bad etc (or porn :)).
Castiana chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
Hm...Morrigan is strangely likeable in this story! O_O

And I love your loghain!
thinkdragonage chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
I love this so much. And I love how at the beginning Morrigan thinks of Loghain as the Warden's pet, but by the end, she's "seeking the sleep that came from resting near her master's feet."

This was just brilliant.
Prisoner 24601 chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
I thought this was pretty damned good. There's a lot to like here. The matter of fact way they get undressed, the way he takes charge and refuses to let her to be the one to control the situation. The reason that he chooses to do the ritual is surprisingly touching (which is something that never really made sense to me in the actual game). And I especially love his parting shot. Well done.
bioncafemme chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
Your Morrigan is exceptional!
Aziethe chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
Oh this was so lovely! The complicated relationship between Morrigan and fem!Warden was so beautiful and understated, and Loghain's surprising empathy was a delight. Really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the deadly sin, too.
mutive chapter 1 . 10/15/2010
OMG, to start with, I love Morrigan's utter disdain for Alistair. (Hah, would it be worth having a child to have it trapped in drooling human form? That line is *perfect*)

But to finish with just...wow. Take aside the snarks of both Morrigan and Loghian, reduce them to whatever they are beyond their hostile exoskeletons, and you have something amazing. Well, at least you do with this fic. I read it without even being able to think of things to critique, which is something for me! I love the touches of tenderness for both the trusting Warden and Anora who still does not have children. The remarkably sexy sex. The disturbing appeal to both of the act. This is a lovely piece. Creepy, yet beautiful.
EmmaOrgana chapter 1 . 10/15/2010
Fantastic.
Sarah1281 chapter 1 . 10/15/2010
This was really good. I liked how Morrigan just assumed Loghain was going to be following orders but he instead made the decision to do the ritual to save the Warden.
Jakia chapter 1 . 10/15/2010
...I just want you to know I had a hard time not laughing out loud when I read the summary.

That said, I'm impressed you actually were able to write this in a very srs business manner and still have it be enjoyable to read, something I'm not sure I would have been able to do.

Keep up the good work!

Gene Dark chapter 1 . 10/15/2010
This is a great short fic - I love Morrigan's thoughts here: her calculating nature but also her softer feelings for the Warden and even for having a child. The sex was beautifully done. Loghain's character "hard thoughts, hard face, hard life" is sketched vividly in very succint ways.
