![]() Author has written 13 stories for Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. So this is where I stare stupidly at the screen and wonder what to type. Or not. OK, so under my real name, I've actually published stuff. Mostly poetry and non-fiction, true. And rarely fiction. I like to think that I can write, but truth be told, see fanfic as this evil, guilty pleasure, so don't tend to edit it particularly well. You're unlikely to see my greatest works here. (This is assuming I have great works, which I can assure you, is totally untrue.) But it's an addiction, if a sick one, so I write it. And if I write it, well... I'm only human. Don't judge. Like any writer, I love reviews. Yes, they encourage this madness, but it's a happy madness. So if you like it, go wild! I also costume/cosplay. (I prefer the term "costume" as I don't really imagine myself to be the character that I dress as, but whatever.) You can see my lovely work at http:// I'm not as bad as you might think. Seriously! I've won awards and judged and everything! And if I write endlessly about a character, well, I've probably done her costume. At least if she's tall, thin, and blonde. Sorry, I am what I am...) Also, as a true ENTJ, I tend to like villains. Well, the interesting ones, anyway. It's not my fault. It's just that the heroes tend to be the "but doing that might make someone unhappy, whine!" types, while the villains tend to be pragmatic go-getters. As a pragmatic go-getter, well...I'm sorry, but I support my own kind. (And fear a world left to the over emotional types.) If you're that sort, we're unlikely to get along. Feel free to read, but realize that you're likely to wonder why I keep idolizing the character you kept wishing you could not only behead, but also feed to a particularly nasty monster. Eh, different strokes. I feel vaguely like I should post a disclaimer that I tend to write more to explore ideas than to write love letters/hate mail to characters. And I'll happily abandon any attempts at canon or write characters completely OOC, if it makes things more interesting. Also, please let me know if you're reading and have brilliant ideas, think something is awful, are bored, etc. I'd really rather know that something sucks than to keep writing crap. (It does happen...) I've found myself with a long list of stories, so am going to try to group them for ease of use (i.e. if you like one in the category, you'll probably like the rest, although no guarantees): Silly stories: Ridiculously Awesome, Lulzy Letters, Further Adventures of a Murderous Trollop, Silly and Smutty, Critical Mission Faeol Cute and Cuddly: Never a Bride, When in Val Royeaux Dark/Angst/Drama/Soap Opera: Diplomatic Relations, Masks, Misconceptions Weird Pairings/kmeme fills that don't go anywhere else: Strange Pairings Essay as Story: Avarice, Anora's Defense Lulzy Letters, Silly and Smutty, and Strange Pairings are collections of stories, so it may take a bit of searching to find the one you want. I'm sorry. I just didn't want to clutter up my main page with a million random stories that often aren't very polished (and these, along with Further Adventures of a Murderous Trollop, tend to be the worst stuff I've posted.) It's rather jumbled, but if you just happen to love character X, you might find him or her there. Current major WIPs are: Diplomatic Relations - A political soap opera using the cast of DA:O (and probably DA2...eventually...) in strange and unusual ways. Lots of romance, drama, action, and even a bit of humor. I'm also working on quite a bit of original fiction (some short stories as well as a novella about a demon at a science fiction convention that should be rather silly). If you are interested in reading any of it and sending along some brilliant ideas, please feel free to send me a PM. I'd love to have more input on the original stuff as well as the fanfiction! In addition, I've deleted a few stories for various reasons. If you want a copy, feel free to PM me and I'll send it over. |
